What you’ll do:
- Communicate our data requirements to the customers
- Guide our customers during the data acquisition, quality assurance, and integration
- Implement and maintain MDI’s ETL processing service using Node.js
- Work closely with the team of engineers to capture and integrate data into our cloud-based data warehouse
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working with healthcare data
- Strong familiarity with the US healthcare system and pharma industries
- BSc. in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Node.js/Python/Java/C#
- Excellent SQL skills (for example stored procedures, inner and outer joins and database indexing and query optimization)
- Experience working with large datasets
- Understanding of data schemas, data marts, and/or enterprise data warehouse design
- 2+ years of experience managing relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience in ETL development (design and implementation)
- Self Driven, highly motivated, and independent worker
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in speaking English as well as reading and writing
Advantages:
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2 / Fargate / S3 / RDS / Route53 / Cloudfront)
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau
