Job Summary:
Manage and maintain the Server infrastructure. This includes installation, configuration, security, performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications hosted on the servers. Will be working closely with the BI Developers and consumers to ensure that the applications are functioning properly and meeting the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux operating systems, file systems, network configurations, and system security.
- Implement and maintain security policies and access controls
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the Server environment
- Collaborate with cross functional infrastructure teams like Network, Security, Infrastructure for smooth functioning of the applications
- Troubleshooting and operational support of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 /Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows, Linux Server administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Should have knowledge of Firewalls, Network Proxy, Load balancing
- Should have understanding of Security standards AD, LDAP, SAML, Oauth
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash and Python
- Candidate with experience of Tableau Server/Alteryx Server/Hyperion Planning / Essbase or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) application within a corporate organization will be preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
