Position: Credit Control Analyst
Location: Gurgaon
Work Mode: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Work across sub-functions: Invoicing, Collections, and Cash Application
- Analyze customer data, binders/slips, and policy terms to ensure accuracy of premium
- Ensure timely collections of receivables and accurate cash recognition
- Conduct audits and quality checks on cash transactions, billing, and collections
- Prepare and review various reports on a periodic basis
- Act as a part-time process trainer, sharing knowledge with the team
- Perform account and premium reconciliations
- Collaborate with stakeholders on ad-hoc projects and tool development
- Maintain clear and precise communication with onshore teams for quick query resolution
Requirements:
- Understanding of the insurance and reinsurance industry, as well as basic financial concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in the commerce domain
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good presentation skills with a proactive approach to driving solutions and process improvements
