Deloitte India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a manager specializing in Cloud Security Tool Development and Assessment. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of cloud security tools and solutions, as well as conducting assessments to evaluate and enhance clients' cloud security posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, tool development, and security assessments to provide innovative solutions and support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cloud security tool development and assessment engagements, including scoping, planning, and execution, while ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Deloitte methodologies.
- Design and develop innovative cloud security tools and solutions to address clients' specific needs and challenges, leveraging automation and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their cloud security requirements and translate them into actionable tool development projects.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' cloud environments, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
- Utilize cloud security assessment tools and methodologies to identify security configuration weaknesses, and potential risks in clients' cloud architectures and deployment.
- Develop and implement scripts, automation workflows, and APIs to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud security assessments and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud security tools and assessments within broader risk management programs.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and provide proactive advice and insights to clients.
- Conduct research and analysis of cloud security technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance tool development and assessment capabilities.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to clients, including findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are preferred.
- 6-7 years of experience in cloud security tool development, vulnerability assessments, or related areas, preferably in a consulting or professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Expertise in leading cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or others.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as CSA, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and SOC 2.
- Experience in conducting cloud security assessments and vulnerability assessments, utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies.
